First steps & setup
Your trackcard is ready to go in under a minute.
How do I set up my trackcard for the first time?
iPhone/iOS/Apple
- Briefly press the button on your trackcard to turn it on. A short tone confirms that it's active.
- Open the pre-installed Find My app on your iPhone.
- Tap the “+” icon and select “Add another item.”
- Your trackcard will now appear on the screen. Tap "Connect," give it a name (e.g., "My Wallet"), and it's ready to use.
Android
- Install the app: Open “Find My Device” (Google) from the Play Store.
- Enable Bluetooth & Internet.
- Switch on: Press the button twice briefly → melody sounds.
- Pairing: Hold the trackcard very close to your smartphone → pairing popup → tap Connect and follow the instructions.
- Name: Assign names in the app.
-
No popup? Which Google settings do I need to enable "Find Nearby?" Open Settings → Select Google Account → All Services → Devices → Find Nearby Devices and manually reset the trackcard.
🚨 The trackcard MUST be connected exclusively via Fast-Pair pop-up

What requirements must my iPhone/Android meet to use the trackcard?
iPhone/iOS/Apple
- iPhone with iOS 14.5 or later
- The Find My app, which you need to use it, is usually already installed on your iPhone by default.
Android
- Android 9 or newer
- Find My Device app (Google)
- Bluetooth + Internet
- Important: Huawei devices are not currently supported.
- After the first pairing, the card is permanently bound to your device; reset it for a different phone.
Do I need to install a separate app for the trackcard?
iPhone/iOS/Apple
No. One of the biggest advantages of the trackcard is its seamless integration into the Apple ecosystem. You simply use the familiar Apple "Find My" app—no additional app, no account, no hassle.
Android
Yes. You need the free Google "Find My Device" app, which you can download from the Play Store.
My trackcard won't connect to the app (or isn't found). What can I do?
iPhone/iOS/Apple
Don't worry, this can usually be fixed quickly.
- Patience: Give your iPhone a moment to find the trackcard.
- Bluetooth: Make sure Bluetooth is turned on on your iPhone.
- Proximity: Hold the trackcard next to your iPhone during pairing.
- Reset: As a last option, you can reset the trackcard (see the “Troubleshooting & Reset” section).
Android
Scenario 1: Trackcard has been paired and disappears from the overview:
What's often behind this: On Android devices, there's sometimes a bit of confusion with Google accounts. The trackcard automatically links to the smartphone's default account, while you may be logged into the Find Hub app with a different account. It suddenly appears as if the card has disappeared.
Here’s the best way to proceed:
- Check your accounts: Open the Find Hub app, tap your profile picture in the top right, and see which Google accounts are displayed. The default account is usually at the top.
- Reset trackcard: Press the power button five times in quick succession. Hold the fifth time until you hear a small melody.
- Re-pair: Start the pairing process again. Pay close attention to the email address displayed in the pop-up—this is the exact account that will be linked to the card.
Scenario 2: The connection pop-up does not appear!
🚨 Important: The trackcard must only be connected via the Fast Pair pop-up. The trackcard will no longer be detectable via regular Bluetooth pairing and will require a reset.
Here's how to proceed step by step:
- Check basic requirements
➡️ Activate Bluetooth: Settings → Bluetooth
➡️ Ensure a stable internet connection
➡️ Activate “Search Nearby”: Settings → Google → Devices & Sharing → Devices
(sometimes: Settings → Connections → Search for nearby devices)
- Reset trackcard
Press the power button five times quickly. Hold the fifth press until you hear a short melody. The card will then be back in pairing mode. Hold your phone very close to the trackcard.
⚠️ Please do not:
- Do not tap “+ Pair new device” in the settings.
-
Do not pair regularly via Bluetooth.
If you have already done so: Reset the trackcard and remove it from the Bluetooth device list (Settings → Bluetooth).
💡 Tip: If the pop-up still disappears, simply start over: Restart your phone, reset your trackcard, and try again. Android sometimes requires a bit of patience.
How do I turn the trackcard on or off and when does it make sense?
iPhone/iOS/Apple
- To turn it on, press the button briefly once.
- To turn it off, hold it down for 3 seconds. The melody confirms.
- In everyday life, you never need to turn them off. Turning them off only makes sense if you don't plan on using them for a very long time.
Android
- On: Press button 1× → Melody
- Off: Hold button for exactly 3 seconds → melody confirmed.
- Switching off only makes sense if not in use for a very long time.
The button on my trackcard no longer responds after pairing. Is it broken?
iPhone/iOS/Apple
No, quite the opposite!
This is a sign that everything is working correctly. Once paired, the map is permanently connected to your iPhone and can be controlled via the "Find My?" app. The button now has new functions: For example, pressing it twice quickly triggers a short status tone.
Android
No, quite the opposite!
After successful pairing, you can control the card using "Find My Device." The button then serves, among other functions, for the status tone (2 short beeps) and power ; the main functions are controlled by the app.
Everyday use & functions
Your smart helper for everyday life.
How can I make my trackcard play a sound when I'm looking for my wallet nearby?
iPhone/iOS/Apple
It's easy. Open the Find My app, tap your trackcard under "Items," and select "Play Sound."
A clear signal tone helps you immediately find your wallet – even if it has slipped between the sofa cushions.
Android
Open Find My Device → select the trackcard → "Make it ring" → "Stop ringing" when found. You'll also see the last known location.
Can I share my trackcard location with my family or friends?
iPhone/iOS/Apple
Yes, and this is especially useful for shared items like a bag/backpack.
Open the Find My app, select your trackcard, and tap "Add Person" under the "Share This Item" option. You can share your location with up to five other people who also use an Apple device.
Android
Yes. In Find Hub / Find My Device, select "Share Device" and send an invitation (e.g., via text message or email). The invited person will accept within 24 hours. Sharing can be revoked at any time later.
Do I have to use the trackcard in my wallet?
No, absolutely not!
Although its ultra-slim shape makes it perfect for any wallet, you can just as easily place it in a backpack, laptop bag, diary, or even the glove compartment of your car.
Anywhere where you don't want to lose something important.
What exactly does the "Notify me when left behind" feature mean? (iPhone only)
iPhone/iOS/Apple
This is your digital guardian angel.
If you activate this feature, your iPhone will send you a notification when you move away from your trackcard. So if you leave the café without your wallet, you'll know immediately, even before you realize it.
Android
This useful feature is an integral part of Apple's Find My ecosystem. This feature is not currently supported for the Trackcard One.
How do I find my wallet if I lost it in an unknown location?
iPhone/iOS/Apple
Your trackcard uses the vast and anonymous Apple Find My network, which consists of hundreds of millions of Apple devices worldwide.
As soon as an unknown iPhone or iPad comes near your lost trackcard, its location will be displayed anonymously and encrypted on your map.
Android
The trackcard uses Google's global "Find My Device" network to locate your lost card. For the location of your lost card to be transmitted, multiple Android smartphones with enabled services typically need to be nearby at the same time. Once this condition is met, the location is reported anonymously and securely to your Google account. You can then view the last known location of your wallet in the app.
Google has built in extensive security and data protection mechanisms for this purpose. A central component is the so-called "safety-first" concept , which also includes aggregation: Only when multiple devices capture a trackcard is their location displayed.
- Aggregation by default : A location is only reported when multiple Android devices detect a tag simultaneously. This prevents a single device from being used to track movement or private locations like your home.
- Particularly effective in busy areas : The network is particularly effective where there are many Android devices, such as in cafes, airports, or train stations.
- In less busy areas : Here, the last known location and the nearby search (“nest finding”) help you find your items again.
You can find further details directly in the official information from Google:
What is Lost Mode and how do I activate it?
iPhone/iOS/Apple
Lost Mode is your most important feature in the event of a loss. You activate it in the Find My app.
This will block the card, allowing you to leave a message with your phone number that an honest finder can see. This increases the chances of quickly recovering your valuables.
Android
Activate the mode in the Find My Device app using the "Mark as Lost" option. This will lock the card from others and give you the option to add a message and phone number that will be displayed to a finder.
What happens if someone finds my lost trackcard?
iPhone/iOS/Apple
If you've activated "Lost Mode," the person who finds your phone can scan your trackcard with their iPhone and see the message and phone number you left behind. This allows them to contact you directly.
Android
Once you activate "Lost Mode," a finder can see your stored information (message & number) and contact you directly. You'll also receive a notification as soon as your card's location is updated by the network.
Battery & Charging
Months of battery life, easy charging.
How long does the trackcard battery last with normal use?
iPhone/iOS/Apple
Your trackcard's battery lasts up to 6 months on a single charge. That's up to 180 days, or 1,555,200 seconds.
The exact running time depends on how often you use the sound function, for example. Compared to disposable products, this makes it a sustainable and long-lasting solution.
Android
Your Trackcard One's battery lasts up to 4 months on a single charge and depends heavily on usage, especially how often the sound function is used.
Since the card is conveniently rechargeable, you don't have to worry about changing batteries.
Why isn't my trackcard LED lit continuously?
iPhone/iOS/Apple
This is completely normal and intended to save energy.
The LED only lights up when necessary, e.g. during charging (red = charging, green/blue = full).
Shortly after the card is fully charged, the green LED goes out again. It remains off during normal use.
Android
This is completely normal and intended to save energy. The LED only lights up when necessary—for example, during charging ( red = charging ).
Once the trackcard is fully charged, the LED goes out again and stays off. It remains off during normal use.
👉 The difference: On iOS, there's a brief additional color indicator when the battery is fully charged; on Android, the LED goes out immediately. In both cases, the LED remains off during normal use to ensure the trackcard lasts as long as possible.
How do I know when the trackcard is charging and when it is fully loaded?
Phone / iOS / Apple
👉 Red = loading
👉 Green/Blue = full, later off
The LED glows red during charging. When the trackcard is full, it briefly indicates this with a green or blue LED. Afterward, the light goes out again to save power. So, no display in everyday life is completely normal.
Android
👉 Red = loading
👉 Full = LED turns off
When charging, the LED glows red. As soon as the trackcard is fully charged, the LED goes out immediately and stays off. During normal use, it displays nothing to ensure the battery lasts as long as possible.
How long does it take to fully charge the trackcard?
Typically, your trackcard will be back to 100% in less than two hours and ready for the next few months.
Which charger do I need for the trackcard?
You can use any standard charger, e.g. a Qi-certified charger, like the one you might already use for your smartphone.
Apple MagSafe chargers also work perfectly. Simply place the trackcard on the charging surface with the back marked.
⚠️ Please note: Very small charging surfaces, such as those designed for smartwatches, may not be compatible due to the coil size. Chargers with overly strong magnets will also not work.
The LED indicates that the trackcard is fully charged. Why isn't the app displaying the battery status correctly yet?
Don't worry—this is completely normal! 😊
The behavior of the LED indicator on the trackcard is the most important indication that the card is fully charged. The battery indicator in the app sometimes updates with a delay and may take several hours to display the correct status.
This is not due to the card itself, but rather to the fact that the app's software (especially on Apple devices) does not immediately refresh the charging status.
👉 Important to know:
• iOS: Green/Blue LED = card is fully charged
• Android: LED turns off = card is fully loaded
• The app display may respond with a delay
• If you briefly remove the card from the charging surface and place it back on, the LED may light up red again for 1-2 minutes – this is due to technical reasons and is not a fault
💡 If the card really does have a defective battery, it would play a little melody every time it was placed on the charging surface.
⚠️ A flickering LED is a strong indication of an unsuitable charging station, magnets that are too strong or poor positioning.
In this case, please contact us.
Troubleshooting & Reset
Fast help if something happens.
The trackcard doesn't play any sound despite being prompted to do so. What can I do?
iPhone/iOS/Apple
First, check the Find My app to see if the trackcard appears as "Nearby."
If it's out of Bluetooth range, no sound will play. Also, make sure the battery is charged.
Android
Check range: The sound can only be played if your smartphone is connected to the card via Bluetooth, i.e. you are nearby.
Check battery: A dead battery is the most common cause. Please charge the trackcard.
My trackcard won't connect to the Find My app. What can I do? (iPhone)
iPhone/iOS/Apple
Don't worry, this can usually be fixed quickly.
Check the basics: Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your iPhone and hold the trackcard right next to it.
Restart your iPhone: Often, simply restarting your iPhone works wonders, as it resets all connections. A good tip that we all too rarely heed.
Trackcard Reset: Please see the section "How can I reset my trackcard?"

How can I reset my trackcard, e.g. if I want to sell it or give it away?
iPhone/iOS/Apple
To release the trackcard to a new owner, proceed as follows:
- Reset card: Press the button 5 times quickly and hold it down on the fifth press until you hear a melody.
- IMPORTANT: Remove from app: Open the Find My app, select the trackcard, and tap "Remove this item." Without this step, the card will remain linked to your Apple ID.
Android
The process is similar to the iPhone, but the order is crucial:
- First, remove it from the app: Open the Find My Device app, select the trackcard, go to Settings, and tap Remove from Account.
- Then reset the card: Press the button 5 times quickly and hold it down on the fifth press until a melody confirms the reset.
Why is it important to remove the trackcard from my app after resetting it?
iPhone/iOS/Apple
This is an important security feature. The trackcard is tightly linked to your personal Apple ID to prevent theft and misuse.
Only by removing it from the app do you digitally release it so that another person can link it to their Apple ID.
Android
This is an important security step. The trackcard is digitally linked to your Google account to prevent unauthorized use. Only when you remove it from your account will this digital lock be removed, allowing the card to be linked to a new account.
I've activated "Lost Mode." What do I need to do now?
iPhone/iOS/Apple
Now it's time to wait for a lost and found notification. Do not remove the trackcard from your app while this mode is active!
This would disconnect you and prevent you from receiving location updates.
Android
Now it's time to wait. You'll receive a notification as soon as the location is updated by the Google network.
Important: Do not remove the map from your account while you are searching for it, otherwise you will no longer be able to receive location updates.
My trackcard is no longer detected after a reset, even though the melody played. What now?
iPhone/iOS/Apple
If the trackcard doesn't appear in the Find My app after a proper reset, it's often due to your iPhone's Bluetooth connection.
Please perform a full restart of your iPhone. After that, the trackcard should appear for pairing as usual.
If that doesn't help, please contact us using the contact form .
Android
Restart your smartphone: Restarting your Android smartphone will solve this problem in most cases.
Contact support: If it still does not appear in pairing mode, please contact our customer service.
Security & Data Protection
Because your security and privacy are important to us.
What does the message “A trackcard moves with you” mean on my smartphone?
iPhone/iOS/Apple
This is a security feature developed by Apple to protect you from unwanted tracking.
You'll receive this notification when an unknown card compatible with the Find My network is nearby for an extended period. You can then have the unknown card play a sound to help you find it.
Android
This is an important, automatic protection feature of Android against unwanted tracking.
Your smartphone has detected that an unknown card compatible with the "Find My Device" network has been moving around with you for an extended period. You can have this card play a sound via the notification to help you find it.
Can someone else find my lost trackcard and use it for themselves?
iPhone/iOS/Apple
No, absolutely not. As long as the trackcard is linked to your Apple ID, no one else can activate or use it. Your personal belongings remain safe.
Android
No. The card is securely and permanently linked to your Google Account. Until you actively remove it from your account, no one else can use it.
How can an honest finder see my contact information without violating my privacy?
iPhone/iOS/Apple
Your data will only be visible if you actively activate “Lost Mode” and decide to provide contact information.
No personal data will be shared without your consent. You have full control.
Android
Only if you activate "Lost Mode" and explicitly enter your phone number or other contact information. Without your conscious consent in this mode, no personal data will be shared.
General product questions
What else you should know about the trackcard.
Is the trackcard waterproof?
Yes. The trackcard is robust and protected against everyday adversities like rain or spilled drinks. So you don't have to worry.
What is the main difference between the trackcard and an Apple AirTag / Samsung SmartTag?
iPhone/iOS/Apple
The key difference is the shape. The trackcard is designed specifically for wallets—ultra-slim, like a credit card.
Unlike the AirTag, you don't need to buy any additional accessories and it's lightweight. Plus, our battery is conveniently rechargeable, so you don't have to replace a battery.
Android
Compared to other trackers in the Android ecosystem, the Trackcard offers decisive advantages:
- Shape: The ultra-slim credit card format is perfect for wallets without adding bulk.
- Integration: It works natively with the Google Find My Device network on millions of devices, without the need for a separate manufacturer app (like Tile or Samsung).
- Battery: The battery is conveniently rechargeable wirelessly, which is more environmentally friendly and cheaper than constantly buying button cells.
Does the trackcard support “Exact Search” like an AirTag?
iPhone/iOS/Apple
We're being honest: Currently, it's not. Apple hasn't yet approved "Precise Search," which enables location tracking down to the centimeter, for accessory manufacturers like us.
However, for searching in the immediate vicinity, the loud signal tone of the track card is in most cases absolutely sufficient to quickly find your wallet.
Android
Yes, there is an important advantage here.
While precise UWB (Ultra Wideband) searches are reserved for specialized devices like the Google Pixel, the Trackcard for Android offers a visual proximity search . As soon as you're within Bluetooth range, the app not only plays a sound but also visually indicates whether you're getting close to the map (e.g., with indicators like "Near you"). This makes the final search in the final meters much easier.
UWB centimeter tracking is not always available on Android, depending on the tracker/hardware.
Can I also use the trackcard with an Android smartphone?
Yes. But only the Android model! The trackcard has two models for different operating systems. The Trackcard One was developed exclusively for the Android ecosystem.
Both versions were developed and extensively tested by us to ensure the high level of security, reliability, and user-friendliness that our customers value.
I no longer have my manual. Where can I find help?
No problem! We've compiled all the important steps and features as short video tutorials for you. You can find them here:
Video Guides
Can I take the card with me on the plane when I travel?
Yes No problem!
You can safely take the card with you on vacation—even on the plane. Depending on the model, the built-in battery has a maximum capacity of 155 mAh (less than 0.05 g of lithium ), which is well below the permitted limits for air travel.
Ideally, you should store it in your hand luggage, as that is where it is safest.
So you don't have to worry: Just pack your things and enjoy your vacation! 🌍🧳🌴
