Does the Trackcard Tag work with Android?
No. The Tag is built exclusively for iPhone and requires iOS 14.5 or later. For Android, there's the Trackcard One, which is located via Google Find Hub.
How long does the battery last?
Up to 6 months per charge. After that, place the card on a wireless charging pad. There's no battery replacement like with AirTag.
What's the difference from AirTag?
Mainly the form factor: An AirTag is roughly 8 mm thick, the Trackcard Tag has credit card format and is only about one-quarter that thick. Both use the same Apple network for location tracking. The Trackcard is also rechargeable.
Can someone secretly track me with such a card?
There's built-in protection against this: iPhones and Android phones automatically warn when a foreign tracker travels undetected for an extended time. The location data itself is encrypted and only visible to the owner.
Is the card waterproof?
Yes, it's IP68 rated. Rain, snow, or an accidental submersion won't hurt it.
Do I need a subscription?
No. Location tracking runs through Apple's network at no ongoing cost.
What happens if I lose my wallet?
In the Find My app, you'll see the last known location. If you enable Lost Mode, the card will alert as soon as an Apple device comes near it, and you'll get a notification.
How loud is the Trackcard Tag?
Up to 105 dB. That's loud enough to hear the card under pillows, in jacket pockets, or in the next room. You trigger the sound from the Find My app on your iPhone.
Do I get a notification if I leave my wallet behind?
Yes. In the Find My app, you can enable a notification when the card is left behind. When you move away from your wallet, your iPhone will alert you automatically.
What happens if I switch phones?
Nothing you need to worry about. The card is linked to your Apple account, not to the device. As soon as you sign in on your new iPhone with the same account, the card automatically appears in the Find My app.

How does a tracker card in your wallet work?
The card sends an encrypted Bluetooth signal. Every iPhone that comes near it anonymously reports the location to Apple's Find My network, and you see your wallet on the map in the app. For nearby search, an alarm tone of up to 105 dB helps you find it.
